The palm trees bow their heads

(Palm tree and skyscraper dress: H&M Trend, Black Straw Hat: Vintage Pucci, Thick chain and flower earrings: Primark, Leather Bag: Zara, Fur Tail: Etsy) #teenvogue

H&M Trend you did it again, you hooked me with yet another weird creation. The print is already pretty out there, then you move on to the fabric and then to the acceptance that you are wearing a glorified scuba suit. Oh well, away with the need for Spanx I guess. Very well made, very unusual, very reasonable price, for y'all, as it is now in the sale. Sob, sob. You too could buy it and look pissy in a field with skyscrapers in the background. Who needs a better incentive than that?!

Hurting parts of your garden

( Jumper with blue collar: & Other Stories, Weaved Skirt: Zara, Leather Handbag: Zara, Boots: Topshop, Pearl necklace: DIY, Coral necklace: H&M, Wood and Gold Bracelets: & Other Stories) #teenvogue

This skirt makes my heart sing a little, the fabric is so beautiful and detailed, I love the mix of colours. In addition, the shape is great, it almost fits my waist and I got it in sale. Also, let's be honest it does not look high street, I think Zara was crushing a little on Dolce and Gabbana. Whatever knock off it is I welcome it to my wardrobe and look forward to testing it out with all of the other colours in it. I love a challenge skirt.

Favourite Things

1. Giant cloche. I thought a cloche was a hat, I was mistaken. I have always loved cloches, I have uhum, two others but they are so small I can't really fit much in them, I actually thought I would be able to fit some shoes in them, but then I remembered I had giant feet. Bubble burst. For this picture I nicked some flowers from downstairs, yes, pastel purple roses. Nice. Now I have a single "forever" rose from a past fling in it. It looks very Beauty and the Beast. I wonder what will happen when the rose dies? Will I become beautiful again?!

2. multi tonal metal hair slides (New Look). I find mixing metals kind of difficult, if you are wearing silver jewellery I never really enjoy it with gold, just think it looks a bit weird. But then, I saw these super cute hair slides with a rose gold, a yellow gold and a silver. I am now sold on this mixing of metals, it looks rad. P.S. Thanks for head modeling Kate., the back of your head is truly glorious.

3. Graduation shopping. I know, it's been ages since I graduated. However, I am the pickiest person alive and my taste is not predictable so my parents gave the responsibility of buying my own present back to myself. Que ring shopping! I have narrowed it down to these four. All preowned which I love. I am just one owner of the many these beauties will have. Now I just have to pick one. Help a girl out, what one is your favourite?

Happy Sunday y'all,

I'm traveling again this week, I will try to update or at least schedule.

J'aime Rodarte

(Sweatshirt: Rodarte, Painted leather skirt: Topshop Premium, Purse: Zara, Fur tail: Etsy, Necklace: Primark, Platforms: Marni x H&M) #teenvogue

If you look past my puffy, sleep deprived face and cast your mind back to the last time I wore this skirt I said I wouldn't wear it with grey. Oops, I lied. But rodarte, which I always want to say Row-dart-tay!!! But no. I borrowed this sweat from my sister, I've crushed on it for a bit, J'aime Rodarte and Je Deteste Rodarte, pretty cute. Way to get your brands label on a t-shirt.

Favourite Things

 1. New (to me) 1970's winged chair. Hello new friend, kind of the marmite of the chair world. I got it from gumtree for £10, plus some snuggles for Stuart who picked it up for me. Ick. I have had my eyes on chairs like this for ages, I then knew when I got one I would paint it like this. But now I have one I cannot see how it is feasible to actually paint it. So decision has been made, it is staying as it is. I may get a sheep skin for it though, just because.

2. Peanut butter M&M's not peanut M&M's. UK, get on this. And no I am not paying £7 for a medium package, although, America? You think this is a MEDIUM size bag of sweeties?? What on earth does a large look like? Anyway, so good, if you are a peanut kinda girl like me. I love it. And I love peanut butter M&M's. Thank you to the parents for going to America this summer.

3. Sunday walks. This is why this post is late, my delightful other half disappeared back off to University for his masters so I am alone, excluding my girls, (Girl). We took our son Frank for a walk in the country saying au revoir to summer. Anyway, bye boyfriend, see you soon.

What are your favourites this week?

My mind is black and blue

(Striped Tee: Street Stall, Skirt with slutty leg showing abilities: Topshop, Handbag: H&M Trend, Hair Scarf: Madewell, Earrings and chunky necklace: Primark, Shoes: H&M) #teenvogue

God, the first picture in this post is peppy. Mixed with Wallace and Gromit. Bit weird. Bit awkward. Anyway, show casing one of my Russia tourist purchases. I am a sucker for a striped tee, but when it is embroidered I am sold. I do wish I was about 5 as the kids ones were way cuter. Being a grown up sucks. It is a constant disappointment to me that adult clothes are not as cute as kids clothes and that I can't really fit in them. I also hope the embroidery actually does say St Petersburg and not something like "I am a stupid tourist" in Russian, although that would be pretty amusing.

English Girls Approximately

(Floral skirt: Vintage/ DIY, Jumper: Nelly, Shoes: Zara, Necklace: ASOS, Purse: Mulberry) #teenvogue

So, I got really into Asian-esque fabrics. Finding the fabric which is made into something you may actually allow to grace your body is tricky. So many terribly shaped items up for re-homing online. I bought this skirt on ebay for virtually nothing, it was a grandma length, in a bad way not an endearing way. Enter scissors. Hello A-line mini skirt. This skirt is naff, it has gold thread in it and is pretty gaudy but I feel the mint jumper mellows it out a little, making it more socially acceptable. Also, it is pretty apparent how taken I was with that tree huh? Looks like candyfloss I don't care, judge me if you will but I took seeds and I am bullying my mother into growing me one.

Now, presenting some Tudor building porn:

P.S. I could have posted a billion other photos but I restrained in acknowledgement that maybe not everyone is like me and enjoys a good English Tudor castle. This was also pre-Russia when I was more easily please, the UK don't do castles like the Russian do.
