Slowly we unfurl as lotus flowers

(Black chevron floral dress: Kate Moss for Topshop, Fur Stole: H&M, Lace up boots: Office, Purse: Mulberry, Ladybirds: Natures own) #teenvogue

Well someone needs a lint roller, or less than 5 cats?

In other news I love dark florals for the winter. I really do. This dress is a Kate Moss for Topshop one I got a year ago still complete with the original tags which I thought was pretty impressive. Now, I quite enjoy this tea dress, bows galore. It is also well made for a Topshop dress- backhanded compliment. What else constitutes a autumn outfit for me? A fur stole, bare legs and boots which cut outs in the toes. I will never dress practically, if you think I will maybe one day you might as well leave now and save yourself some time. However, I am buying tights this weekend, after the snow I think it is time. Sadly.

Get get get in line, and settle down

(Plaid Cardigan: Alexander Wang, Slip dress: Zara, Shoes: DIY, stone necklace: etsy) #teenvogue

An ode to the ultimate plaid princess: Miss Gwen Stefani. I feel a lingerie slip matched with an over sized plaid cardigan would meet her approval.

This picture actually looks like I am dancing to above said Gwen song. But I can't dance so this is mis-representative as a sassy grindy kind of dance- I hate myself.

Out into the grey streets

(Textured skirt: H&M Trend (red here), textured blouse: New Look, M Belt: Maison and Scotch (here), wedges: Topshop Unique, Purse: Mulberry) #teenvogue

Yes, I know what you are thinking, I do have this skirt in red. But this one is lilac. Pastels, just because. Managed to find the creepiest ally in Glasgow for these, across from the river- got starred at by some builders, in fact they closed a gate after they saw me stumble up in these shoes. Maybe they get lots of bloggers parading around in their place of work in unsuitable footwear. Rude. However, the creepiest ally turned into a pretty sweet one! I love you too Glasgow.

It's been a while since I did an old invert, so I had a revival and look what happened to this one? It's better than making shapes out of clouds!! Bunny got sass.

I've been sleepwalking down to the lake

(Skirt: H&M trend, Striped top: River Island, Cross necklace: Topshop, Leather bag: Zara, Heels: & other stories, fur tail: Etsy) #teenvogue

I fell in love with a white version of this skirt last seen here. I seriously wear it all the time. So when I saw a purple version of it I jumped on it. Although, I was disappointed, the white one was a perfect length (and I mean perfect!), this one is just plain dowdy. As a result I've not touched it since I got it in the summer. But I saw it there and thought I'd embrace the awkward length thing it has going on. I don't mind it like this, paired with some mega trampy shoes and a crop top, but as soon as I have a weekend this baby is getting shortened.

Sorry for the lack of updates- insert generic busy at work comment-

Cold cold water

(Silk pastel cami: Topshop, fur plaid skirt: River Island, Mint pumps: Topshop, Purse: Mulberry, Jacket: Forever 21) #teenvogue

I think you are meant to wear pastels in the spring or the summer, well boo you society, I wear pastels in the Autumn and Winter and develop a cold. I saw this skirt online and fell in love. It's just so pretty and fluffy, I spend more time than normal stroking my butt. If anyone is holding fire on this skirt some things to consider- it sizes smaller than normal- I had to go up one size as the zip isn't very long and I couldn't get the smaller size past my bum. Also it has a really bad smell, one that I hope to wash out. But em, it smells pretty bad, kind of acidic. At least I hope it isn't me? Other than that it is glorious, pretty colour palette, pretty shape.

Also, thanks Miss Kate for your photography perfection tendencies. I am basically a giant movable doll.

"Hicks wear gingham"

(Dress: The White Pepper, Coat: Zara, booties: Topshop, gold ankle cuffs: eBay) #teenvogue

You know it is not easy getting onto a hay bale. Especially in heels. I really should have tried harder at trampolining classes.

I feel I have to actually talk about the dress now. I originally bought the ASOS version of it, which on paper was cuter, it had little buttons down the back which as it is a smock I wouldn't have needed to unbutton every time I wanted out of it. This challenge is always a concern for me when buying clothes, I hate getting stuck in them, really freaks me out, especially when I get it so far off and  somehow my arms get drunk and confused and I get stuck, always in an uncompromising position/ stance replicating a 90's dance move. Anyway, I actually hated the shape of the ASOS one. I get that it is a smock and it is meant to look like a maternity dress but this one took it to far so I traded up to the White Pepper one which is perfect. I mean that.

Which outfit was your favourite? Let me know in the comments.
